In terms of innovation achievements, the company has secured over 670 authorized patents. It has led or participated in the formulation and revision of more than 100 international, national, industry, local, and group standards. The company has also been honored with the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award—the highest accolade in China’s standardization field—demonstrating its pivotal role in industry standard-setting.
Henan Mine holds membership in the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery, the Subcommittee for Bridge and Gantry Cranes under the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery, the Subcommittee for Electrical and Intelligent Equipment under the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery, and the Henan Provincial Technical Committee for Standardization of Lifting Machinery. Dr. Xu Lei, Senior Manager of the company, serves as Deputy Leader of the Domestic Technical Counterpart Expert Working Group for the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Cranes (ISO/TC96).

In 2020, the company and Henan Special Equipment Inspection Institute innovatively established a “factory-within-institute, institute-within-factory” model through joint construction of a key laboratory and collaborative innovation testing base. The jointly established National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Bridge Cranes and Light/Small Lifting Machinery possesses testing capabilities for 18 product categories and 1,125 parameters, covering every stage of bridge crane manufacturing. It has successfully obtained the “Triple Certification” accreditation and laboratory accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA). The testing base is equipped with large-scale testing equipment independently designed and developed, such as pressure testing machines and electric hoist test benches. It also houses specialized laboratories including an IoT laboratory for safety monitoring management systems, an electrical control laboratory, a physical properties testing laboratory, a mechanical properties testing laboratory, a structural analysis and health monitoring laboratory, a non-destructive testing laboratory, and a vibration testing laboratory. These facilities comprehensively ensure product quality and technological innovation.

The company has established R&D platforms including a National-level Enterprise Technology Center, a Provincial-level Industrial Design Center, and a Key Technology Laboratory for Cranes, providing robust hardware support for technological innovation. Concurrently, the company has forged long-term partnerships with institutions such as the Beijing Crane and Transport Machinery Design and Research Institute, the Henan Provincial Institute of Special Equipment Safety Inspection, and Harbin Institute of Technology. By leveraging external expertise, these collaborations effectively drive the innovative development of crane technology.
